Affiliates Are Getting Ready For School

Most schools on all levels start next month, so it’s time for affiliates marketers to get their back to school campaigns going very soon

Amazon sent email to affiliates with some good links to go directly to college essentials and back to school savings.

The email was meant to quickly get some basic links up for affiliates, why not just go ahead and install the affiliate ID’s into the links so they are already in the email.

Instead, they provided the following:

To link directly to these promotional pages and earn referral fees on subsequent qualifying purchases, copy the link formats below replacing “YOUR_ID_HERE-20″ with your Associates ID:

College Essentials: http://www.amazon.com/b/?&node=668781011&tag=bestintebusi-20

Back-to-School Savings: http://www.amazon.com/b/?&node=1065840&tag=bestintebusi-20

They were kind enough to remind the affiliates of their ID at the bottom of the email.

You need to hurry and get those school campaigns together.

Times have really changed… I remember going to T.G. & Y dime store and Woolworth’s ( I guess they’re called Dollar Stores now) and Shalinsky Drug Store to get our school supplies. Do you remember the cheesy fake denim 3 ring binders, Big Chief Tablets, Bell Bottom Jeans, Desert Boots and Red Ball Jets (Athletic Shoes)?

I grew up in a city and in those days there were no WalMarts in large towns. WalMart was confined to small rural communities. We grew up with Catalog Stores like Montgomery Ward, JC Penny, Sears Roebuck. SS Kresge (now Kmart) was a discount store.

Those were the days my friend… we thought they’d never end…
