Some people prefer to create their own videos to promote their own products online or as an affiliate. Do your affiliate merchants allow you to use their videos that are posted to YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe, Blip.tv and other video mediums WITHOUT providing you with a way to embed your affiliate links?
What if there was an easy and free way to embed your affiliate links in videos… You Can!
By using the FREE online service BubblePLY….
You can add a link to the bottom of a video, or embed hyperlinks in text. When your site visitor clicks on the link, a new window opens and the video continues playing…. pretty cool huh?
For an example…here’s how to embed your affiliate links into a YouTube video:
1. Copy the URL of a video you want to add your link to into the text form at BubblePLY.com and then click ‘Next’.
2. Pause the video and get your own affiliate link.
3. Start the video again, hit ‘Bubble’ and choose your desired bubble format.
4. Enter the text you want to appear in the bubble.
5. Enter your affiliate link.
6. Drag the duration buttom right across to the end of the video.
7. Click ‘Done’ and you’re done.
Here’s the catch (there’s ALWAYS one or two, right?).
It is usually sound advice to create your own promotional videos because not all Affiliate merchants will permit you to use their videos (even if it does benefit them)…. But you can always ask… right?
